Nantucket Workshop

Hi to all, I just wanted to let you know about the workshop dates for my Nantucket oil painting workshops. The dates are subject to a 7 student minimum for the workshop. I would also like to keep the workshop class size to no more than 15 artists. The cost of the workshops doesn't include food or lodging expenses.

I recommend the Century House. That is where I stay. If you need help finding a place to stay please let us know and we will make recommendations.

Nantucket oil painting workshop July 7th-8th Cost for both days $550.

Nantucket oil painting workshop August 18th and 19th Cost for both days $550.

Discover the Artist within you at a Christopher Wheat Painting Workshop, All Levels welcome. Christopher has been painting for over 20 years in Watercolor and oils. As a self-taught Artist, Christopher can give you the insight to some of the common questions that may come about in your endeavors at painting. I will be painting in oils for the workshop.


We will start daily with lecture and demonstration of principles, followed by the students' application of an afternoon of painting. Christopher will give individual instruction as needed throughout the afternoon and close each day with Question and Answer. ( 9:30 to 5) with a 2 hour lunch each day.
