Sconset is one of my favorite places on Nantucket, Here is my most recent painting an 12x16 oil on canvas. I started it over the summer and just finished it up in the studio.
My goal was to capture the warmth of the sun but also the breeze of ocean air and of course the beauty of the Sconset cottages and assortment of summer flowers on the way to the bridge.
