"Foggy Morning, Walking Dog to Sankaty" Nantucket

This is my newest painting hot of the easel of the Historic Sankaty Light house on Nantucket Island. This is a 12x24 oil on canvas. The Morning fog is just lifting as the owner walks his best friend a Yellow Labrador retriever to Sankaty Light. One of my favorite things to do before I head off the my painting location for the day is to take an early morning walk. I can totally relate to this painting, I can feel the cool pockets of fog passing them by as they make the way up the sandy road.
