One of my favorite places to go and paint while on Nantucket are the Creeks. Here is my latest small painting that captures the beauty and feel of the late summer Monomoy creeks. The sandy road invites you in through Roses known at "Rosa Rugosa" I love the twisting and winding creeks and the patterns that are worn in to the march grasses. Off in the distance is Nantucket harbor with the masts of Sailboats that are on moorings. The original is available and will be releasing a small limited edition print in the next few days.
