Well my last post was the sketch of what this has become, a beautiful gem of a painting titled "Afternoon Brant point" Nantucket. The paint is still wet on this 8x10 oil on canvas painting of Brant point, the detail on this painting is tight and captures the beauty of Brant Point lighthouse from the harbor side, the softness of the sea air is captured along with the afternoon sun and pushing shadows with the elegance and precision that I enjoy putting to each of my works.
