Great Point Light house Nantucket painting

It was a great morning in the studio today. I sketched out my next painting and can't wait to get to started on it. I may even lay down some color on it later today. I have been wanting to do this painting for a while now and look forward to posting the finished painting for you to see. I love great point light house it's a beautiful location on Nantucket, and if you have fished on Nantucket you know that it's a great place to do some surf fishing.

If you head out to Wauwinet you will need a 4 wheel drive vehicle with beach passes to and pay a beach access fee to go out to Great Point Light House, I have to say it is well worth it. If you you don't have a vehicle on island you can rent a 4 x4 Jeep at Nantucket Affordable Rentals located on 6 So.
